For Policymakers
A Bulgarian-grown model for helping children rise.
Too many children are still kept on one flat educational path: the same targets, the same pace, and the same narrow idea of success.
Standardised education gives security, but it leaves too little room for children to rise, diverge, and discover the value they can create. TwoFish opens that space.
Born in Sofia and shaped through live practice.
Born in Sofia in 2015 and shaped through work with more than 200 Bulgarian children, TwoFish is a simple growth game that helps primary-school children become active value creators, not passive pupils.
In just a few hours a week, they embody real roles, explore, build, trade, fail, adapt, and reflect. They begin to learn a different truth: I can create value.
Make space for something new.
The proposition is not that the standardised schooling should be abandoned. The proposition is that standardised schooling is no longer enough by itself.
We can continue to value security, while also creating novel environments that recognise and reward initiative, usefulness, contribution, and creation. This is not a destructive move. It is an additive one.
Families, schools, and the country all gain.
Families gain children with more initiative and responsibility. Schools become more lively and more connected to real life.
The country gains something of its own: a home-grown model for helping children discover their mission in life without requiring a false choice between security and growth.
The target is shifting.
As knowledge becomes cheaper and more available through the democratisation of AI, the educational goal is shifting toward developing self-direction, initiative, collaboration, and value creation.
Many of the capacities now widely recognised as most important for the coming decade: problem-solving, adaptability, emotional intelligence, responsibility, and growth mindset are exactly the kinds of capacities TwoFish is designed to strengthen in practice.
Begin with a bounded pilot.
This can begin with voluntary pilots in a small number of Innovative Schools, using existing resources, creativity, and community support. Low-cost. Measurable. Adjustable.
The point is not to force a system-wide conclusion in advance, but to create a valid pilot strong enough to demonstrate contrast and value.
This model grew here.
TwoFish did not arrive from outside as a borrowed model. It grew here. That matters.
A country does not need to wait for permission to recognise and develop something valuable of its own.
The riskiest choice is to keep a nation grounded in the name of safety.
If that sentence feels true, then the next step is simple: take a serious look at a bounded pilot and what it might reveal. The future belongs to the brave.
Discuss a pilot
A realistic way to demonstrate contrast and value.
TwoFish does not require a false choice between security and growth. It offers a bounded, Bulgarian-grown pilot that can be tested, measured, and adjusted.
The next step is simple. Do the necessary due diligence and start the conversation.
